	Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory (Guangzhou) The Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory (Guangzhou) (hereinafter referred to as “Guangzhou Marine Laboratory”) is a provincial-level research institution organized by the Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government. The Guangzhou Marine Laboratory was officially recognized by the provincial government and put into operation in November 2018. It is primarily supported by the Innovation Academy of South China Sea Ecology and Environmental Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guangzhou Marine Geological Survey, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Guangdong University of Technology, and is established in collaboration with leading marine science and technology entities across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Guided by the mission of “Rooted in the Greater Bay Area, Delving into the South China Sea, and Venturing into the Deep Ocean”, the Guangzhou Marine Laboratory embodies the national vision, fulfills the national mission, and focuses on tackling key scientific challenges in “Marine Security and Resource Development”. It aims to build a national strategic technological pillar dedicated to the South China Sea and establish a world-leading marine science and engineering R&D base with Chinese characteristics.
	Institute of Smart Marine Science and Engineering, Guangdong University of Technology The Institute of Smart Ocean Science and Engineering of Guangdong University of Technology is committed to establishing itself in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, delving into the South China Sea, and venturing into the deep blue. It aims to build an institute that is "distinctively characterized by engineering, leading in ocean negative carbon technology, prominent in deep-sea exploration and development technology, integrating land and sea development, coordinating ecological and resource management, and having a significant international influence".
	Nature Sensors Nature Sensors publishes fundamental, applied, and engineering research across the full spectrum of sensing technologies, spanning biological, computational, engineering, and systems domains. The journal covers the development of novel sensor materials and devices, as well as the design, integration, and broader application of sensor systems. Emphasizing technological advancements in sensor design, materials, signal processing, and data analytics, Nature Sensors highlights the transformative societal impact of sensing technologies. The journal aims to bridge scientific research, engineering, and industry, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration to tackle complex challenges in areas such as healthcare, environmental monitoring, bio-integrated devices, automotive, civil infrastructure, and smart technologies.
	Nature Microbiology Nature Microbiology is interested in all aspects of microorganisms, be it their evolution, physiology and cell biology; their interactions with each other, with a host or with an environment; or their societal significance. Nature Microbiology provides a place where all researchers and policymakers interested in microorganisms can come together to learn about the most accomplished and significant advances in the field and to discuss topical issues. An online-only monthly journal, our broad scope ensures that the research published reaches the widest possible audience of microbiologists.
	Nature Reviews Earth & Environment Nature Reviews Earth & Environment is a new online-only reviews journal, publishing monthly from January 2020. We are interested in the latest advances in, and timely syntheses of, research spanning all aspects of Earth and environmental science, incorporating disciplines that fall within, and are related to, the following themes: weather and climate, surface processes, and solid Earth. The reciprocal relationship between the environment and society are also featured. Our broad scope and accessible format ensures that articles reache the widest possible audience.
	Nature Communications Nature Communications is an open access journal that publishes high-quality research from all areas of the natural sciences. Papers published by the journal represent important advances of significance to specialists within each field.
	Communications Earth & Environment Communications Earth & Environment is an open access journal from Nature Portfolio publishing high-quality research, reviews and commentary in all areas of the Earth, environmental and planetary sciences. Research papers published by the journal represent significant advances that bring new insight to a specialized area in Earth science, planetary science or environmental science.
